An open transporter is fine for a fleet car. For anything with provenance, matching numbers or a fresh respray, it is a series of small risks nobody itemised at the quoting stage.
We move vehicles fully enclosed and climate-controlled, on hydraulic lifts rather than steep ramps, secured with soft straps over the wheels — never the chassis or suspension. Our drivers are trained on low-clearance, non-running and left-hand-drive loading, and they do not subcontract the leg to whoever was nearby.
Condition is photographed in detail before loading and immediately on arrival, and both sets come to you with the delivery file. For race and show movements we handle ATA carnets and temporary admission, including the tight turnarounds that a season calendar produces.
